The Graduate House

The Graduate House is an independent, student-run bar and eatery centrally located at the Corner of University Avenue and LeMarchant Street. Its profits support the graduate student societies and their activities. Opened in 1975, the Grad House was originally a private club. Today, the Grad House is happy to welcome the entire campus community and general public to enjoy its facilities. Offering the only two fully-licensed patios on campus, the Grad House is a great mixture of both pub and coffee shop atmospheres. Open year round, except Christmas Break and Study Break, the Grad House offers a wide variety of special events and functions. The facility is available free of charge (some restrictions apply) for special event bookings such as departmental functions and fundraisers. Between classes or at the end of the day drop by to shoot some pool, to have a snack or to enjoy a cold refreshment.
